SUMMER SCHOOL

W.E.A. ARRANGEMENTS The ninth annual summer school organised by the Workers' Educational Association will be held at Wesley Collegq, Paerata, from December 26 to January 3. During the first period each morning, Professor James Shelley, of Canterbury College, will give a course of lectured on "Education in a Changing World." In the second half of each morning the camp will bo divided into three groups for the study of three separate subjects. Messrs. S. F. Champ and A. M. Chisholm will speak on "Design in Modern Life," Messrs. J. 0. Shearer and J. L. J. Wilson on "Programmes of Economic Recovery," and Professor J. Rutherford and Mr. W. T. G. Airey on "International Relations in Modern Times." The afternoons will bo left free for recreation and in the evenings Professor A. W. Se\vell will speak on "The Theatre and Society." Mr. E. Varlev Hudson will be in charge of the musical programme.
