/ FIVE FIRST FANCIES I) —— * GAY MARIGOLD'S SUCCESS SILVER JUBILEE AGAIN 'if/ " Favourites performed well at Te Rapa yesterday, when the Waikato Racing Club's Spring Meeting was coneluded, five first fancies for a win and also for a place being successful. Gay Marigold scored a most decisive victory in the principal event, the Hamilton Handicap, which she also won last year. This was her third win in succession. Silver Jubilee also gained his third win on end when ho led the lie-Id from si;art to finish in the Waikato Hack Cup Handicap. The track t was in excellent order after a little rain during the week-end. Totalisator investments amounted to £15,021 1 compared with £18,236 10s on the second day last year, a decrease of £3215 10s..
