ERADICATING RAGWORT
DEMAND FOR RELIEF LABOUR [fhom oub own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Monday So many applications for relief workers to assist in clearing ragwort have been made by farmers to the Franklin County Council that the clerk, Mr. A. P. Day, stated at the meeting to-day that there was no ohance of meeting all requests. The acting-engineer, Mr. A. C. Bettanjp, said that farmers had to provide their own transport to the farms this year.
