PRISON FOR THEFT

Monday Arrested by Constable Roberts, a labourer, Frederick William Collins, appeared before justices in the Hotorua Police Court this morning charged with the theft of £l, and also with vagrancy. Accused was sentenced to two weeks' imprisonment on the theft charge, and on the other charge he was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon.
