INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS PLAY INTERRUPTED BY RAIN The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's inter-club competitions were continued on Saturday afternoon, but heavy rain caused an abandonment of play in the majority of cases. First grade matches were played at Stanley Street between University and Parnell B and Remuera and Royal Oak, but no finality was reached.
