Golden Sands (near Greymouth).— 220z. 18dwt. for* 33 shifts of eight hours. Stafford Dredging (Hokitika). — Owing to a, temporary power shortage on November 10, there was a clean-up for 650z. 16dwt. from 7398 cubic yards in 153 hours. Brian Boru (near Greymauth).—Last week, lOoz. 15dwt. for llfi- hours and 12,000 yards. MAHAKIPAWA DELAY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHTJRCH, Sunday fv Owing to a breakdown in the pump last Monday, work at the Mahakipawa mine was not resumed until Thursday afternoon. Tbero was no wash-up for the week. REPORTS OF MANAGERS Moanataiari Golconda (Thames). — The crosscut advanced 12ft. during the week iu good country rook, which is still interlaced with mineral veins. Progress has been slow as the ground has belen difficult to shoot on account of being tied in with the veins.
