HILL-OLIMBING CONTEST Thrilling riding was witnessed by a fairly large gathering at Mount Wellington on Saturday afternoon, when a programme of hill-climbing events was held by the Auckland Motor Cycle Club. Light rain made the steep and bendy course very slippery, with the result that there was much spectacular skidding. The fastest time, 9 2 ss. was established by L. McLaren, while R. Moorcraft and A.
