HIKURANGI CLUB EVENT [from our own correspondent] WHANG ARY.I. Friday The Hikurangi Homing Pigeon Club held a yearling roce from PaekakariJu, this being the final yearling average race. . A helping wind enabled the birds to put up a good velocity. The following were .the results:—G. Davis' "Gay Idea, "&Byds /} minute 1; R- Longland s Nevada, 11156 yds, 2; E. Gilbey's "Gymkhana.., average cup for the season was won by R. Longlands.
