CROP DESTRUCTION
PLAGUE OF GRASSHOPPERS SOUTH AUSTRALIAN LOSSES ADELAIDE. Nov. 8 Eyre Peninsula, South Australia's vast wheatgrowing province, is being devastated by the worst plague of grasshoppers within memory. In many cases farmers will reap no grain. Many others will obtain no more than feed. The grasshoppers continue their advance on a 250 miles' front.
