CRISIS IN FRANCE
THREAT OF CIVIL WAR PARLIAMENT WARNED EX-SERVICEMEN'S ULTIMATUM -REACTION ON BOURSE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 8. 8.15 p.m.) PARIS. Nov. 7 An ultimatum to the French Parliament was delivered to-day by M. Rocque, chief of the Fiery Cross League, the strongest ex-servicemen's association in France.
"If the Parliamentary parties.commit the crime of returning: to their old intrigues the nation will not. forgive them," said M. Rocque. "Let Parliament beware. Its attitude to-day will decide between peace and war. If it is to be war'there will bo civil war first.
"I am not speaking for a mere list of 200,000 names, but for men of heart and x-esolution, who are ready to act at a minute's notice."
This declaration strongly affected the Bourse, where many people fear the crisis will lead to disorders as bad as those which occurred in February. Government stocks slumped heavily.
