NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE —— y. The monthly meeting of the Northcote Plunket Committee last evening was largely attended. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, presided. The Birkenhead representatives present were Mrs. N. J . Campbell and Mrs. E. Creagh. The Plunket nurse, Miss Joan Carmichael, reported that the mother and baby in the Karitane Home from Birkdale were progressing well. Morley, Mrs. N. J. Campbell, Mrs. L. Hayman, Miss Myrtle Lepper and Miss Jean Stewart. Appreciation was recorded of the services of Mrs. T. Torrens and of her contributions from time to time of beautiful work to assist the funds! Regret was also expressed that she could not continue as a member of the committee. Thanks tvere conveyed for a donation of £5 from the Arcadian Amateur Dramatic Club from the proceeds of the recent performance. A donation from Mrs. R. G. Skeates was also acknowledged.
