OATMEAL BISCUITS
Directions for making oatmeal bisMits are forwarded by a correspondent in answer to D.M. (Henderson):—lt is Presumed that a biscuit is needed which *ill stand packing, etc., without unnecessary breaking. If needed this paste can be made into a roll, being quite stiff and workable. Cream three ounces 'sugar and three ounces of butter; sad six ounces of wholemeal, six ounces W oatmeal, one egg, about three tablespoons of milk, one teaspoon of baking Ppwder and half a teaspoon each of Cla namon an d ginger. Mix all to a stiff ?v\ e ' r °H out a quarter of an inch its on a board. Cut into squares and inw? s^a P e an d bake in a slow oven 1U "20 minutes.
