DUKE OF KENT

SEAT IN THE LORDS OATH OF ALLEGIANCE TO-DAY British "Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 5 The Duke of Kent will take his seatin the House of Lords on Wednesday. It is expected that he will be introduced by his brothers, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of York. During the course of the ceremony the new peer will be conducted into the House by officers of State. The writ of summons of the King, commanding his son to attend Parliament, will he read afterward.

The Duke will take the oath of allegiance and will then be conducted in procession to a chair of State at the side of the Throne.
