SCHOOLBOY ATHLETES
THE CANADIAN TEAM CONTESTS IN DOMINION [BY TET.EGRATH —"PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Tuesday The council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night received a cablegram from Dr. A. S. Lamb, manager of the team of 12 Canadian schoolboy athletes, now in Australia. stating the team would leave Sydney by the Maunganui on November 21 and would join the Aorangi at Auckland on December 11 for Vancouver. The council arranged for the party to compete at Wellington on December 1, at Rotorua on December 4 and at Auckland on December S.
The council received an application from the Auckland Centre for permission to invite a team of Victorian athletes to tour the Auckland Province from February 9 to February 2'!. The team suggested was "Woodhouse, McLardy and Coleman. While expressing appreciation of the enterprise of the centre, the council in view of the proposed English tour decided to hold the matter over.
