FARM HAND FOUND SHOT
VERDICT AT THE INQUEST [from 01-R OWN rORBRSrOXDKXT] MATAMATA. Tuesday The adjourned inquest into the death of Howard Havelock-Green, aged 28. farm hand, who was found shot on the farm of his employer, Mr. George Knight, at Hinuera. on Saturday, October 27, was concluded before Mr A'. <l. Tong. coroner. Deceased had left an unsigned note which indicated his intention to commit suicide. The handwriting was recognised by his wife. The coroner returned a verdict that deceased died from a gunshot wound, self-inflicted, while in a depressed state of mind.
