NAVAL CONVERSATIONS
JAPANESE PROPOSALS COMPLETION OF SURVEY (Received November i, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Nor. 3 A stage has been reached in the naval conversations at which a survey of the proposals advanced by Japan has been completed by the British and United States delegations in consultation with the Japanese representatives and with each other. No arrangements have been made yet for further formal discussions between the three interested parties. Close contacts are being maintained between the members of the delegations, however, and a formal scrutiny of the problems involved is being continued.
