CALF CLUB FORMED
MEETING AT TE PUKE ELECTION OF OFFICERS [iiV TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE PUKE, Saturday
A meeting convened to form a calf club in Te Puke was addressed by Messrs. Butler and Everd, of the Rangitaiki Calf Club, who outlined the progress made by the movement in their district. It was decided to form a club and the following committee was appointed:—All head teachers, and Messrs. W. J. Law, A. B. Morton, E. Morton, K. Bennett, D. Boss, C. Luke, A. Byburn, W. H. Reynolds, A. §nodgrass, G. Bishoprick, H. J. Gill, J. A. McGliie, S. W. Mitchell, R. Billing, H. Cuff, I). F. Wickham, B. Lyon, R. Evans, G. McNaughton, and I. Vereoe; secretary, Mr. W. Sparks. The election of a president was held over until a meeting of the executive, to be held on November 10.
