Doull, Moore, Sherriff. Hull, 7. BUCKLAND'S BEACH CLUB The summer season of the Buckland's Beach Bowling Club was officially opened on Saturday. The president, Mr. F. J. Fawcett, extended a welcome to visiting bowlers, after which Mrs. Fawcett threw the first jack and the first bowl.

Mr. Raymond Sheath, president of the Dominion Bowling Association, unveiled a mi-morial tablet to the late Mr. E, O. Eliott. a former president of the club. Mr. Sheath paid a tribute to the pporting qualities of Mr. Eliott. who whs onp of the founders of the Buckland's Beach Bowling Club. Those present observed n minute's silence as a tribute to the late Mr. Eliott.
