In an inter-club match played during the week-end between teams representing the Cambridge and Rolortiu. Golf Clubs.. the latter won by 15 games to two, two being all square. Owing to heavy rain in tiie afternoon, two games only were completed in the foursomes. Following were the results, Cambridge names being mentioned first:—

Saturday The Whangarei Golf Club held its official closing this afternoon in beautiful weather, there being a large attendance, including visitors from other clubs. During the afternoon a mixed foursome was played and was won by Mr. and Mrs. J. MoLeod. The trophies won during the season were presented by Mr. W. A. Christiansen, pi< sident of the club. In doing so he congratulated the club on its very successful season, and the great interest taken by members in the respective, competitions. He also congratulated the club upon the excellence of the new links, and the enthusiasm and assistance of members limiting it possible to put them down.
