FEANCE'S INTENTIONS NO MILITARY ENTRY LEAGUE MUST DEMAND CO-OPERATION ESSENTIAL By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 0 8.25 p.m.) PARIS. Nov. 1 In semi-official quarters it is stated that France will not. send troops into the Saar Basin, except on a clear, formal demand by the Council of the League of Nations. Also, France would request other nations to co-operate. It is stated that the present purely technical preparations are the result of a report from Mr. G. G. Knox, chairman of the Saar Governing Commission, to the effect that the possibility of a Nazi coup cannot be overlooked. GERMANY'S HOPE RETURN OF THE REGION JANUARY PLEBISCITE BERLIN. Nov. 1 The Frankfurter Zeitung says nobody in Germany thinks of forcibly seizing the territory of the Saar, which undoubtedly will return peacefully to the Fatherland as the result of the plebiscite next January.
