Mrs. Evans and Miss M. Evans, Wellington, are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. Donald Reid, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Graham Robertson, Parnell. Mrs. J. W. G reville, Devonport, is visiting her son, Dr. Greville, Dnrgaville. Mrs. Lambert arrived by the Mariposa from Los Angeles and is at Glcnalvon. Mrs. G. L. Cook, Miss Cook and Mrs. Cyril Jordan, Tauranga, are. at the Hotel Careen. Overseas visitors at the Station Hotel include Mrs. A. Bushbj', Los Angeles, and Mrs. T. H. Warren, Fiji. Miss Dorothy Round, Miss Evelyn Dearman and Miss Nancy Lyle, London, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mrs. Howard Richmond and Miss Mabel Johnston will leave to-day to spend a brief, holiday at Taupo. Mrs. Richard Cobbe, The Chateau, is in Auckland for a few days and is staying with Mrs. H. V. Tregear, Herno Bay. Miss Marion Macfarlane, who has been spending several months in Suva, returned to Auckland by the Mariposa yesterday. Major and Mrs. Boose (Fiji) arrived by the Mariposa yesterday and are at Glenalvon. They will spend the summer months in New Zealand. Mrs. David Fernie, and Miss Elizabeth Loudoun, Napier, and Mrs. 0. R. Kresse and Miss M. Krcsse, Christchurch, are at the Grand Hotel. Visitors from overseas at the Grand Hotel include Mrs. A. H. Gold, London- Mrs. J. A. Jameson, California; and' Mrs. L. W. Alexander, Texas. Mrs. Raymond Wilson, Kuala Lumpur, is visiting New Zealand on furlough' and is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Raleigh Peacocke, Owens Road, Epsom. Mrs. Vincent Lorigan and Miss Isabelle Lorigan have arrived in Auckland from the South and are, the guests of Mrs. Price, Rowallyn, Mount Eden. Mrs W. Pi Hans Rankin, The Manse, New Lynn, has left to the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Conference to be held in Dunedin, also for a visit to Mrs. Arthur Munro, North Otago. The annual exhibition of the Arts and Crafts section of the Penwomen s League was held yesterday at the^ clubrooms, majiy members and friends attending. Brass, china and hand-painted calenders were among the articles that were shown. Mrs Carr-Rollett opened the exhibition. Incidental pianoforte music by Miss Coote and songs by Mrs. Moller were appreciated. Afternoon tea was served. Among those exhibiting were Mrs. Harrison Smith, Miss Lucretia Johnson, Miss D. Vallance lon rig, Misses E. and W. Melville, Miss Briar Gardner, Miss Marnie Spicer and Mrs. Maisie Carte-Lloyd.
