MOTOR-SHIP WAIWERA

NEW VESSEL ARRIVES The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's new motor-ship Waiwera, which arrived, at Port Chalmers from London via Suva, on Tuesday on her maiden voyage, is the first of three fast motorships which were ordered by the company for the trade to New Zealand. The other two vessels aro nearing completion and will be named "Waipawa and Wairangi. The Waiwera is a vessel of 10,760 tons and is of striking appearance, with a slightly raking stem and a cruiser stern. She is n shelter deck vessel 'with three tiers of between decks and is 535 ft. overall. Cargo will be carried in six holds, of which two are insulated. After discharging at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth, she will loan New Zealand produce at Bluff, Gisborne, Napier, ellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on"'November 23 and to sail for London, via Panama, fivo days later.
