A MORNING TEA

A very pleasant morning tea was given at the Lyceum Club yesterday, by the president and members of the executive of the Auckland branch of the National Council of Women in honour of Miss Ellen Melville and Miss Alice Basten, two of the council's members, who had attended as delegates the recent Pan-Pacific Women's Conference. Tho president. Mrs. Hugh Kaspcr, welcomed the two guests, and an interesting talk upon various aspects of the conference followed. Those present included in addition:— Mrs. H. Cohvill, Miss S. E. Jackson, Mrs. E. McNair, Miss Carnnchan, Mrs. A. D. Campbell, Mrs. T. Bloodworth, Miss G. Hemus. Miss E. Newton.
