HARRIERS WITH DESPATCHES ARRIVAL AT MELBOURNE MELBOURNE. Oct. 22 On the final stage of the relay run from Sydney, W. Kempson, captain of the Footscray Harriers Club, reached the Melbourne Town Hall at noon on Saturday. He delivered complimentary despatches from the Premier of New South Wales to the Lord Mayor. The relay runners covered the 597 miles between Sydney and Melbourne in 55 hours 47 minutes. The Colltngwood harriers yesterday completed a four days' relay run from Canberra. They arrived at Melbourne five minutes ahead of schedule.
