CENTENARY SPORTS
A WILD WEST SHOW BOY ATHLETES ARRIVE MELBOURNE, Oct. 22 Strange and wonderful sights are contained in a "Wild Australia stampede, misnamed the Centenary Show, comprising a band of imported American cowboys, "bronco-busters," Indians and Mexican knife-throwers. A crowd of 35,000 people attended the opening on Saturdav and were thrilled by the most sensational Wild West display ever seen here. _ , Teams of Canadian and New Zealand schoolboy athletes have arrived for the Centenary school sports. The New Zealanders are Bickerstaff, Wilson, Clarke, Steele, Savers, Wordsworth, McLauchlin, Watt and Coxhead.
