Monday Teams representinsr the Rotorua. _ Tauranga, Opotiki and Whakatane fire brigades competed for the Chilton Cup in the Whakatane Domain to-day. Ideal weather prevailed and all the events were keenly contested. Following are the results:— Hawkins Memorial Cup. one man event.— Rotorua. 1: Opotiki, 2: Tauranea. 3. Two men. wet event: Tauranga. Opotiki, 2; Rotorua. 3. Three ratn. dry event: Rotorua. 1; Tanranga 2: Onotiki, 3. Three men disabled event: Opotiki. 1: Rotorua, 2; Whakatane, 3. Foui men disabled event: Rotorua. 1: Opotiki, . 2; Tauranga, 3. The Chilton Cup was won by, Rotorua with 43 points, and Onotiki was second with 3!>i points. The Rotorua team comprised Firemen Fitz. Price. Henderson and Sairley.
