WOMEN'S DIVISION

Makar.au.- —The branch meeting was held at the residence of Mrs. G. E. Smith. Mrs. C. J. M. Hooper presided. Two competitions were held and were won by Miss E. Hooper and Mrs. E. K. Dunn. Pukekawa. —An open meeting was held and many visitors were welcomed by the president, Mrs. M. G. Orr. Arrangements were made for the branch birthday party to bo held in November, and also for the catering at the opening of the new hall, which is shortly to take place. The bring-and-buy stall was in charge of Mrs. Wells, assisted by Mesdames Hawke and E. H. Mason. The proceeds from it amounted to £4 10s 6d.
