NEW OFFICERS ELECTED The annual meeting of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand was held in Wellington last week. Mr. Stace Bennett, of Auckland, presiding. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. Gordon Harcourt (Wellington'* : vice-presidents, Mr. 0. Baker (Christcburch) and Mr. H. E. Vaile (Auckland*; councillors, Messrs. Stace Bennett and H. G. C. Ernest (Auckland), C. E. Hoy (Canterbury), C. D. ('ox (Hawke's Bay), E. W. Win (Nelson), L. Deans Ritchie (Otago), G. Crawshaw (Poverty Bay), G. D. Virtue (South Canterbury), J. T. Carswell A. Evans (Taranaki), G. S. Boyes (.Waikato), H. J. Duigan (Wanganui) and A. A. Gellatly (Wellington).
