STEAMER'S MISHAP
COLLISION OFF DENMARK KEPT AFLOAT BY WOOD CARGO COPENHAGEN. Oct. 17 The Swedish steamer C. B. Pedersen, bound from Halmstad to Melbourne, which collided with a Swedish steamer, the Halland, west of the Sk&w, at the " northern extremity of Denmark (not with the Skaw itself as was first reported), was kept afloat by her timber cargo. Now she is lying anchored to a salvage steamer alongside. ' The Halland arrived at Gothenburg later. She was damaged at the bows.
