RAIN IN THE WAIKATO
HEAVY SHOWERS YESTERDAY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday Heavy showers fell in Hamilton today, and more rain has fallen than has been the case since the change occurred in the weather conditions on Sunday. The rain is warm and penetrating, and pastures and gardens are benefiting from the moisture. The rainfall for the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. to-day totalled .06in., bringing the rainfall for the week up to .56in., and for the month up to 1.90 in
