YIELDS- OF COMPANIES Addison's Flat (West Coast). —For fortnight ended October 13, a total of 370z. for 34 shifts. GOLDEN GULLY MANAGER Mr. J. M. Powell, manager of a sluicing daim near Westport, has been appointed manager of the Golden Gully Sluicing Claim (West Coast). AO-TEA-ROA PROSPECTING An option has been concluded by an Australian company over a large dredging area held by Ao-tea-roa Gold Prospecting Company, Limited, near Westport. The terms are for six months with the right to a renewal for six months, and the purchase price is in the vicinity of £20,000. WEST COAST NUGGET A soz. nugget was obtained by J)enia and party at Mikonui (Ross) last week. The party had bean successful enough prior to the find to notify the Unemployment Board that it did not require the subsidy any longer. REPORTS OF MANAGERS Matak'j (Murchison).— During last week tho dredge worked for 124 hours on a face of 500 ft., the average depth of which was 14ft. The dredge pulled ahead 30ft. There was a considerable amount of time lost with timber. However, the face is now looking much cleaner.
