FEW CHANGES IN PRICES SCARCITY OF WHITEBAIT Little change has occurred in the retail prices of foodstuffs during the past week. Second grade butter has.increased Id, but first grade is the same. There is a shortage of whitebait owing to the wet weather, but fish values generally are unchanged. There is still a keen demand for South Australian navel oranges. Mandarins are not procurable. Island tomatoes have been reduced and are now selling from 9d to lOd a pound.
