INCREASE IN BUSINESS ! I LEADING ISSUES FIRM A substantial volume of mining business was again transacted on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. There were no major movements in prices or levels, but leading issues were firm. The chief changes in the sales list were a rise ! of 2d in Mount Lyells to 18s lid, and a loss of 6d on Okaritos, which were done at 8s 6d. Golcondaq and Matakis wero slightly firmer; and Gillespie's Beach and Skippers were a shade easier.
