NEW PRIVATE SCHOOL

NAME OF ST. PETER'S PREPARATION OF PLANS The name of St. Peter's has been chosen for the new private school to be established near Cambridge next year. The architect is Mr. 11. A. Lippincott, who hopes to have the plans completed by the end of this year. These will be sent Home immediately by air mail for the approval of Mr. Arthur Broadhurst, who has purchased the property, and who is to share the headmajitership of the school with the the Rev. J. M. Beaufort. Before selecting the site Mr. Broadhurst spent about two and a-half years in visiting different parts of the world to look at schools, and the locality chosen appealed to him as an ideal one. He lias become well acquainted with all the recent tyes of schools. The pipes for the organ, which will be erected in the chapel, will be imported from Scotland and assembled by an expert in Onehunga. There is artesian water on the school property, one side of which is bounded by the Waikato River. Possibly water will be pumped from the river to supply the school baths.
