/ POSTPONED PROGRAMME COURSE SOFT AFTER RAIN •REVIEW pF THE FIELDS / Heavy rain overnight and yesterday morning caused a postponement of tho second day of the Auckland Racing Club's Spring Meeting until to-day. Tho occasion was the first 011 which a day's racing has been postponed at Ellerslie since the third day of the winter meeting in June, 1924. The rain yesterday has softened the track a good deal and the going to-day will be much glower than 011 Saturday. As a result some horses will have enhanced prospects, among the number being Free Air, Catoma, Gipsy Moth, Tradesman, Baroscope, Versant, Lord Val, Neil, Allegretto and Sporting Blood. Horses likely to be well supported in their engagements include: Norman by Handicap.—Gipsy Moth, jCanopy, King Brierly. Manuka 11 Hurdles. "Tree Air, 1 ■ Catoma, Emancipation.
