FELLOW FEELINGS
Sir, —Living as I do a long way from Auckland, 1 seldom come to town these days, 'and while attending the annual synod 1 have noticed a great change in Auckland. There is now cheerfulness manifest, more civility and friendliness among all sections of the people whom I have met. In the trams the officials seem out to oblige and pleaso. I ain writing this appreciation because the change, if I may say so, is to me very marked and pleasant. Padre.
