Payne, who is to act as assistant to ■Mr. R. H. Nesbitt, Australian Trade Commissioner, whose headquarters ara in Wellington. Mr„ Payne, who is accompanied by Mrs. Payne and their young daughter, will share duties with Mr. Nesbitt, with the object of allowing him more time to go round New Zealand periodically in the interests of Commonwealth trade expansion, it is proposed that Mr. Payne also will visit various centres from time to time. One will remain at Wellington while the other is away.
