VISIT' TO ADELAIDE GAME OF POLO ENJOYED FINE HORSEMANSHIP TWO GOALS SCORED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyricht (Received October 14. 5.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE, Oct. 14 The Duke of Gloucester spent an interesting day yesterday, iHe visited the Adelaide Children's Hospital and chatted with patients. Then he witnessed a Scouts' demonstration and attended a public reception in the grounds of Government House. There he stood on a dais and many thousands of the citizens filed past him. A pleasant interlude in the afternoon was an informal game of polo. His Royal Highness captained a team, which included his private secretary, against a team composed of some of the State's best players. The Duke scored two goals in six chukkas, and impressed the onlookers with his fine horsemanship. DOMINION ITINERARY ROYAL VISITOR APPROVES SOME ALTERATIONS MADE [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION ] WELLINGTON, Saturday The deputy-Governor-General, Sir Michael Myers, has received from the Duke of Gloucester final approval of the New Zealand itinerary, subject to the following alterations:—Wednesday, December 19, 10 a.m., arrival at Hastings; 11.35 a.m., arrival at Napier, where the Duke will stay the night; Thursday, December 20, 9.30 a.m., departing for Gisborne, via Wairoa; 4 p.m., arrival at Gisborne. Monday, January 7, 9 a.m., departure from Nelson for Murchison, Mangahua, Westport and Greymouth, where His Royal Highness will arrive at 7.30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 8, departure from Greymouth and arrival at Hokitika and Ross; 1.30 p.m., arrival at Waiho (Franz Josef Glacier). The Duke will arrive in Auckland at 10 a.m. on December 24, and will leave at 2 p.m. on the 28th.
