EXCHANGE OF VIEWS KING'S JUBILEE YEAR PROSPECTS UNDER REVIEW By Telegraph—Frests Association—Copyright (Risctsived October 5. fi.25 p.m.) > LONDON. Oct. 5 The Financial Times savs it thinks it natural that advantage should be taken of the King's jubilee celebrations next year to discuss Empire affairs, but recommends that warning be given if fundamental issues are to be raised, as a conference of such a nature would require careful planning, lest damage should ensiio. An informal exchange of views, however, would clear the air. Britain's exports to Empire destinations rose from 41.67 per cent of the total in 1924 to 44.51 last year. Her imports from British countries in the sani'3 period increased from .'10.21 to 30.91. It. would bo difficult, says the paper, to imagine circumstances in which any of the parties would imperil this growth of trade.
