Murray's splendid drama of Irish peasant life : , " Autumn lire, which has been pllliyed at frequent intervals by the Abbey Theatre in Dublin since it was first produced in 1928. " Autumn Fire," following " Birthright," his earlier success, places Mr. Murray in the forefront of contemporary Irish dramatists, and is considered the finest achievement in tha way of folk drama since the plays of Synge.
