LIFE SAVING
DEMONSTRATION OF METHODS Taking advantage of the visit to Auckland of Mr. H. Lock, of Loudon, chairman of the central executive, of the Royal Life-Saving Socioty, the Auckland Head Centre will hold a life-savins: demonstration at the Tepid Baths next; Wednesday evening. In addition to displays by local teams, Mr. Lock will lecture on the latest piethodu of life-saving, and resuscitation in cases of apparent drowning, gas poiuon7ng and electric shock. The London society's methods tire practised by swimming clubs, surf clubs, schools and other organisations, and to enable as many people as possible to be present there will be no charge for admission MANUKAU SURF CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Manukau Surf Life-Saving Club President, Mr. L. Biray; vice-president-, Mr. M. Moore; captain, Mr. W. Spooner; vice-captain, Mr. Leatherby; secretary and treasurer, Mr. Marshall; auditor, Mr. Norman.
