CHARGE OF INTOXICATION A clerk, Brian Perry Keenan, aged 20 (Mr. Sullivan), appeared lor sentence before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Pol iff Court yesterday, on a charge of being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car in Victoria Street on September 30. The probation officer, Mr. W L Campbell, reported that the young man had not been in trouble previously, ami he did not drink as a rule. Hss habits of life were good, and on the occasion of the offence he had merely had a few drinks at a party. Accused was admitted to probation for 12 months, the magistrate warning him to observe the terms laid down.
