The roof of the premises is. practically completed. Permission for the New. Zealand Broadcasting Board to erect one of the steel frame masts at present on the roof ,of George Court and Sons, Limited, in Karangahape Road, on top of the new studio was granted, by the City Council last week. Satisfactory progress is also being made with the new building to house the transmitting plant at Henderson, and it is expected ' that the new station will be in operation by the end of the year. y
