WOMAN'S STRANGE COMPLAINT

A Paris woman who believed herself to be a medium, Mile. Ernilie Le Brereton, recently waited on M ; Jean Cluappe, former Chief of Police, with the curious request that 110 should cease to disturb her sleep by sending her telopathic messages during the night. Mile. Le lireroton, who is 45 and a dressmaker, is well known in the quarter of Paris where sho lives as a person who "hears voices." The "voice" of M. Ciliappe, however, caused her so much trouble that she decided to appeal to the ex-Prefect. M. Chiappe replied by calling in the local police commissar, and Mile. Le Brereton was taken to a hospital to be examined by mental experts.
