A meeting of the Henderson branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union was presided over by Mrs. Piatt. Mrs. Freeman, delegate to the recent convention, gave a report of the business dealt with, and afterwards tea was served by members.

A meeting of the Otahuhu Women's Christian Temperance Union was held in the Methodist Sunday School on Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Eccersall presiding.
