WOMEN'S DIVISION

Huntly.—Mrs. R. Wilson, vicepresident, presided over a good 'attendance. The roll call, "The uses of a lemon," brought many helpful hints. Mrs. Rogers was the winner of the aggregate points prize for the year. A surprise packet won by Mrs. Jenkins caused considerable speculation and amusement. Mrs. Hausley won the competition. Hostesses were Mesdames Russell and Mrs. T. Paf,crson.

Cambridge.—Mrs. LamUe presided over a good attendance. Visitors from institutes were welcomed Mrs. Lambie gave an interesting talk on the work of the division in the new settlement. Letters of grateful thanks were read from settlers wbo had been helped. Matters with regard to the women's division rest seat were finalised. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Miss Marshall for her report on the recent conference. Mrs. E. Niekle demonstrated crepe paper hat making. The Maungatautari ladies provided an enjoyable programme and were also hostesses for the afternoon.

Ngahinapouri.—Mrs. Ryburn presided. The sum of £3 was voted to the Community Chest. Mrs. Moore demonstrated the making of woollen floor rugs. The competition for the month, "Puff pastry" was won by Mrs. W. Reid. Hostesses were Mrs. l Mills and Miss Vickcrß.
