Sept. 15 The semi-finals of the South England tennis championships, played at Eastbourne, resulted: — Men's Singles.—Sharpe defeated Andrews, 6 —3, 6 —3; Round defeated King, 6—4, 6 —l. Men's Doubles. —Hare and Ridley defeated Andrews and Heeley, 6—4, •2—6, 6—4.
