INJURIES PROVE FATAL
STRUCK *BY MOTOR-CYCLE DEATH OF ELDERLY MAN €? [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday An elderly man, Mr. Alfred Reginald Newbury, of Sydenham, who received head injuries when he was knocked down by a motor-cycle in Carlyle Street, Sydenham, last night, died in hospital early this morning. He did not regain consciousness.
The motor-cyclist, Mr. Victor Sayers. of New Brighton, is still in hospital, but his condition is improving. He also suffered head injuries.
