MAN'S SEVERE BURNS

CONDITION STILL CRITICAL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Sunday The condition of Mr. Edward Mahonev, aged 56, single, an employee of the Maungaturoto Hotel, who suffered serious burns to the body when benzine he was pouring was set alight on Thursday night, was still critical at & late hour to-night. It was stated, however, that a very slight improvement was apparent. He is a patient at the Te Itopuru Hospital.
