PROPOSED AUSTRALIAN TOUR [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN. Friday The New Zealand harrier confidence decided to-night to ask the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to make arrangements to send a Dominion cross-country team of six to Australia next season to compete with national and State teams there. Other recommendations were that harriers should pay registration fees only if competing in open competition, and that their fees go to a separate fund for sending cross-country teams overseas. . It was decided also to recommend that the next cross-country championships he held in Wellington, and that a 10-miles' road championship be established.
